1. What FounderPath provides
FounderPath provides commercialization cost intelligence for hardware startups: benchmarked budget estimates, cost guides, a free prior-art patent search, and paid reports. Everything we publish is an estimate or a research aid.
2. Estimates are not quotes or advice
Budget ranges are modelled benchmarks drawn from industry data. They are not quotes, not a commitment from any supplier, and not legal, financial, or patent advice. Patent search results are informational only and are not a legal clearance or a substitute for a registered patent attorney. Always validate figures with quotes from your own suppliers and counsel before committing spend.
3. Accounts and access
Access to purchased reports is tied to your email address and an access token stored in your browser. Keep your access links private — anyone with them can view your reports. You may restore access at /recover.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
One-time reports are charged at the price shown at checkout. FounderPath Pro renews automatically monthly or yearly until cancelled, at the then-current price. Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period. See our refund policy.
5. Acceptable use
Don't resell, redistribute, or republish our reports or benchmark data, scrape the site at volume, or use the tools to break the law. Report content is licensed to you for internal use in your own venture.
6. Third parties
TriMech Design is an independent design partner. Any engagement you enter with them is a separate contract between you and TriMech; FounderPath is not a party to it.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, FounderPath's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
