Privacy policy

What we collect

• Email address — when you request an estimate summary, share a patent-cost estimate, buy a report, or sign in.
• Estimator inputs — product type, industry, stage, complexity, and volume, so we can generate and re-open your estimate.
• Interest submissions — name, company, timeline, and notes when you request the TriMech Design concept pitch package.
• Purchase records — order and subscription status. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store them.

How we use it

To deliver the report or access you asked for, restore your access across devices, email you transactional messages (receipts, access links, verification links), and improve our cost benchmarks in aggregate. We do not sell your data.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers needed to run FounderPath: Stripe (payments), our hosting and database provider, and our transactional email provider. If you submit the concept pitch package form, your submission details are sent to TriMech Design so they can contact you — that is the purpose of the form.

Storage in your browser

We store an access token in your browser's local storage so your purchased reports open without a login on that device. Clearing site data removes it; you can restore access by email at /recover.

Retention and your rights

We keep purchase records as long as needed for accounting and support, and other submissions until you ask us to delete them. You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us — we'll action it within 30 days.
